This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful carvings and sculptures. There are two categories of caves here, one is the Hindu rock art and the other is the Buddhist rock art. These are supposed to have built in the 7th century.

The Worli Fort was built by the British around 1675 overlooking the Mahim Bay. The Fort is in the middle of the Worli Fishing Village. The structure is placed amidst the blue Arabian Sea. The fort features beautifully decorated gate at the entrance.

Situated in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park at Borivali, the Kanheri Caves are affectionately termed as the “lungs of the city”. The most important feature of these caves is the natural Basalt formations that very well define Indian architecture. The caves date back to the 1st century AD.

Jijamata Udyan Zoo is located in Rani Jijamata Udyan Victoria Gardens. It was established in 1861 which makes it one of the oldest zoos of India. The zoo shelters 200 animals of 26 species, 450 birds of 45 species and eight reptiles.

Also called as Baan Ganga Temple, it dedicated to Lord Shiva.The temple and the attached fresh water Banganga Tank were built in 1127 AD by Lakshman Prabhu, a Gaud Saraswat Brahmin minister in the court of Silhara dynasty Kings who ruled Thane, and the islands of Mumbai during 810 to 1240 AD.

It is one of the oldest temples in Mumbai dedicated to goddess Mumba. This temple was built in honour of the Goddess Amba which is is six centuries old. The temple itself is not impressive but is an important landmark as it is dedicated to MumbaDevi, the city’s patron deity.

It is a beautiful seaside jogging park in Bandra area in Mumbai. Its jogging track is 400 metres long. The entrance fees of the park is Rs 2 and remians open to the public from 5:30 to 9 am and 3:30 to 9 pm.

The magnificeint Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is a historical railway station in Mumbai and a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The station was built in 1887 in the Bori Bunder area of Mumbai. The railway station is built in Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and traditional Mughal architecture.
