Indonesia Visa on Arrival

  • Visa on Arrival is given for holiday, business or social visit purposes and is issued at the airport/sea port when you enter the Indonesian land.
  • You need a passport valid for at least 6 months, return tickets and visa fees to get a visa.
  • To get a Visa on arrival you are required to fill a card before your arrival.
  • On your arrival go to the bank counter and pay the required amount for your visa where you will also be issued a bar-coded receipt.
  • Take the receipt to the Visa on Arrival counter where your arrival/departure card, passport and receipt will be recorded and a visa sticker will be issued and stuck in your passport.
  • You then have to proceed to the immigration counter for your passport to be stamped.

  • Citizens of countries apart from those listed above are required to get their visas before they arrive here.
  • For this you need to go to the nearest Indonesian Embassy to apply for visa.
  • Single-entry visas are valid for 60 days.

  • Citizens of Brunei, Cambodia, Chile, Ecuador, Malaysia, Laos, Macau, Morocco, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are allowed visa free entry in Indonesia for a stay up to 30 days.
