The Awakening
The Awakening is a statue of a giant implanted in the earth, struggling to free himself. The statue comprises of five separate aluminum pieces covered in the ground, giving the impression of a bothered monster attempting to free himself from the ground.

Cameron Run Regional Park
Cameron Run Regional Park offers a mixture of recreation facilities in a urban zone, including Great Waves Water Park. The park features batting cages, a full 18 hole smaller than normal fairway, and a waterpark. The waterpark, reputed to be Great Waves, has a wave pool, a toddlers pool, and water slides.
Oronoco Park
Oronoco Park is located along the Potomac River in Alexandria. At the entrance of the park is a flowerbed display. Couples enjoy romantic picnic on the waterfront Oronoco Park. At this park many different festivals and events can also be enjoyed.

Potomac River
Couples could enjoy several fun and relaxing romantic moments at the Potomac River. Enjoy a river tour with dining cruise on the mighty Potomac by day or by night under the stars with the lovely monuments or pleasant harbor scenes and historic buildings as scenery.

Huntley Meadows Park
Huntley Meadows Park, the biggest park operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority. The park is home to abundant wildlife and is known for drawing in numerous birds, amphibians, and plants that are acknowledged less regular in the locale. There are numerous watch zones and seats along maintained Heron, Deer, and Cedar trails.

Gadsby’s Tavern Museum
The City of Alexandria continues their protection and understanding through Gadsby’s Tavern Museum and by renting the restaurant space, in the inn building, to a private restaurateur. The definitive ballroom woodwork can even now be seen at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Jones Point Light
The Jones Point Light is a little river lighthouse placed on the Potomac River in Alexandria. The grounds of Jones Point Park are open year- round from 6 am to 10 pm.
