Illulissat Fjord
It runs west 40 km from the Greenland ice sheet to Disko Bay. At its eastern end is the Jakobshavn Isbrae, the most fast forming glacier in Greenland. It flows at a rate of 20–35 m per day, resulting in around 20 billion tones of icebergs passing out of the fjord every year.
Disko Bay
This is an untouched district known as the green heart of Disko Bay. Warm summers attract a lot of tourist to this place. With gentle hills, tundra plains, green passes, blue fjords and mountain tops Disko Bay becomes the favorite hiking spot for many.
Narsaq

Tasiilaq
This town is located on a fjord which is protected from the open sea by a thin opening. The first thing that you will notice here looking out of the helicopter window is the many brightly-colored houses built along the mountainsides.
National Greenland Museum
The museum has many articles related to archaeology, history, art, and handicrafts and also has information about ruins, graveyards, buildings etc. The museum was inaugurated in 1960.
Nuuk Art Museum
The museum contains a varied collection of paintings, watercolors, drawings, graphics, and figures in soapstone, ivory, and wood. The most important of all these is a collection of over 150 paintings by Emanuel A. Petersen.
Kangerlussuaq Museum
This museum is open only during summers. Explore the history of the airport as an old American Air Force base. The museum gives a detailed account of the history of aircrafts in Greenland before, during and after the Second World War.
Hot Springs in Uunartoq
Three naturally heated springs merge into a small pool in the inhabited town of Uunartoq. You can take a dip in this pool surrounded by icebergs and mountain peaks.
