We had a great time spent at Washington. There are the traditional D.C. attractions, which are very good — the Smithsonian museums, the U.S. Capitol, the monuments — but there’s more. Several renowned Shakespearean theaters call Washington, D.C. home, as do a cache of very good markets, swank bars. If you time your visit at the end of March and into April, you could experience the city’s annual seminal event: the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Eighteenth street lounge is a fun-filled, beautiful lounge. The nights, featuring some excellent live music. Crowd is very diverse. Its amazing to be at Washington.
