Dona Paula Beach in Goa

Dona Paula is a beautiful beach named after the small village of Dona Paula which is located in the suburbs of the capital city of Panjim in Goa. Located on the northern side of the city the beach shares its stretches with famous other beaches of Miramar Beach and the capital city of Panjim. The beach is named after a Portuguese woman Dona Paula who was very kind and refused to marry a fisherman in the village and killed herself and believed to be seen in the moonlight wearing a pearl necklace. His story attracts more tourists to the beach and was buried in the Cabo Chapel of Raj Bhavan.This is one of the beaches which are most loved by the couples and the couples can enjoy some of the best  water sport facilities available and they can also go for nice beach shopping as there are many shops settled along the beachside that sell a good selection of goods ranging from foods to clothes.
