Tour Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrive in Guwahati
Meals: N/A
Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station and get transferred to the hotel and check-in. Take some rest and later visit Kamakhya temple & Sankardev Kalakhetra.
Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2:
Guwahati to Cherrapunjee (200 Kilometres)
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at hotel check-out from hotel drive to Cherrapunjee. On arrival check-in at hotel, spend the evening at leisure and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3:
Cherrapunjee
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast get ready for a trek to Single Decker Living Root Bridge which will take around 3- 4 hours. This trek starts from the Resort premises and goes downhill through village Sohsarat. Trek back to the resort for a musical performance by local boys. Spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4:
Cherrapunjee – Mwallynong – Shillong Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, go for a day long excursion to Mwallynong (100 kilometres / 3 hours drive approx.).
Later drive to Shillong. Visit Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and Local market (closed on Sundays). Spend the night in Shillong. (Note: It is advisable to have packed lunch)

Day 5:
Departure From Guwahati
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed to Guwahati. On arrival, transfer to Guwahati airport or railway station. The tour ends with sweet memories of Assam.
