Day 1: Blue Lagoon and Reykjavík
On arrival, you will be met by your private chauffeur, who will transfer you from Keflavík airport to the amazing Blue Lagoon Spa. After the healing bath, head to your hotel in Reykjavík, where you will be greeted with Champagne and chocolate from Iceland´s finest chocolatier. Day 2: Snæfellsjökull National Park
After you have received the rental car you will have a full day drive taking in attractions such as Deildartunguhver, the largest hot spring in Europe; the historical Reykholt; Hraunfossar waterfalls and Langjökull glacier. Drive to the Snæfellsnes peninsula and national park, a perfect location for nature lovers with amazing birdlife, lush valleys and lava fields. The glacier is believed by many to be one of Earth’s seven major energy centres and was the backdrop to Jules Verne’s famous novel Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Snæfellsnes is great for horse riding tours and walks on the beach, as well as to watch birds and sometimes seals by the coastline under Snæfelsjökull glacier. Day 3: Romance by Snæfellsjökull Glacier
Spend the day exploring Snæfellsjökull National Park by Snæfellsnes and/or Snæfellsjökull glacier. On Snæfellsnes, you can choose from a variety of tours and acitivities such as hiking, horse-riding, boat tour to charming Flatey Island, Nature & Bird-watching boat tour on Breiðafjörður Bay or simply relax and take in the glacier’s alleged supernatural energy. Day 4: The Valleys of Skagafjörður
Drive via the scenic beach Skógarströnd with a view of the uncountable islands of Breiðafjörður Bay. You can visit the living viking-museum at Eiríksstaðir before continuing to Skagafjöður. There you can go horseback riding, river rafting and take a dip in the hot pool Grettislaug at beach Reykjanesströnd, where Grettir the Strong, one of Iceland’s most notorious outlaws, in the Saga Age bathed after swimming from the island of Drangey. Stay at a deluxe-hotel in Skagafjörður area.

Day 5: Whale Watching and Europe’s Most Powerful Waterfall
Continue to Húsavík, the ‘whale watching capital of Europe’ and enjoy the magnificent wildlife and stunning scenery aboard an oak fishing-boat. Then, experience some of the natural phenomena of Jökulsárgljúfur, including the canyon Ásbyrgi and the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss. Stay at a hotel in the area of Lake Mývatn.

Day 6: Lake Mývatn, Natural Baths and Exotic Lava Fields
Explore the surroundings of the tranquil Lake Mývatn. Sights include the boiling mud-pots at Námafjall, the pseudo craters at Skútustaðir, the lava maze Dimmuborgir and the Krafla Volcano to name a few. Taking a dip and relaxing in the healing waters of “Mývatn Nature Baths” and experience bathing in a pool of geothermal water drawn from depths of up to 2,500 meters is the perfect way to relax at the end the day before enjoying great food and settling in at your cozy hotel room. Day 7: The Capital of the North
You can enjoy the morning exploring more sights of Lake Mývatn. Head to Akureyri, the friendly ‘capital of the north’, and visit the waterfalls of Goðafoss on the way. The charming town offers interesting shops and museums. You can also take an optional trip beyond the Arctic Circle from Akureyri to the island of Grímsey (operated between 15th of June – 20th of August).

Day 8: The Highland Interior, Gullfoss and Geysir
Drive the Kjölur interior road to Hveravellir, a high-temperature geothermal area. There you can find natural hot spring to bathe in and enjoy the stunning landscapes off the beaten track. Continue south between two glaciers, Langjökull and Hofsjökull to some of the best known natural phenomena in Iceland; the great Geysir and Gullfoss , the queen of Iceland’s waterfalls. Stay the night in the Geysir area.

Day 9: Þingvellir National Park
At Geysir, you can start the day with riding the Icelandic horse or Quad Bike in the stunning surroundings of the Geysir area and its spouting hot-springs. Head to the unique Þingvellir National Park; listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and a site of immense beauty and history. The Þingvellir plains are located on the north Atlantic rift that splits Iceland between the North American and Eurasian continents. You can swim between the continents on a snorkeling-or diving trip in the clear waters of the Silfra Rift. Continue back to Reykjavik where you can enjoy the afternoon doing some last-minute shopping, exploring the city centre by foot and perhaps sample some Icelandic cuisine at one of the city´s many restaurants.

Day 9: Waterfalls and Glacier Adventure
Drive to the graceful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, experience walking right behind the flowing water and feel the light drizzle. Head on to visit Skógafoss waterfall and the spectacular black sand beach by Vík. At Mýrdalsjökull, you will have the opportunity to experience a guided glacial hike (optional). It is ideal to visit the village of Stokkseyri to enjoy a high-class lobster feast at a local restaurant overlooking the sea before arriving back to Reykjavik. Stay the night at a quality hotel in Reykjavik.
