This slight variation in temperature during the year is due to Hawaii's proximity to the equator and the cooling effect of the surrounding ocean during the summer.Because the weather on the islands is usually very mild and pleasant, there is really no bad time to visit. The weather can be rainy and wet from the last few months of the year until March, but the rain is not drastic enough for any vacationers to avoid theĀ islandĀ during particular months. Also, if it does rain, it can do so in specific locations and also be over quickly. The specific locations are the windward sides of the island, which includes the road to Hana. There is also a "wrap around" effect as the wind blows the rain around the northwest end of Maui.
Best Season: Maui weather is wonderful year round so any time of year is a good time to visit Maui.
My husband and I stayed Maui for our honeymoon and had an overall great experience. The place was beautiful and quiet. We loved listening to the ocean waves every night; getting massages at the spa and toasting champagne in the hot tub. It was magical. We stayed for three nights and it wasn’t enough. By the end we were sad and sentimental; I swear we miss the place, the stories, the experiences and the calm so very much. Unforgettable memories. Will surely visit again..:))
