Summers: May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep. Scorching hot and dry
Winters: Oct to Feb. Cooling to bearable (if warm) days, possibly rain.
Monsoons: Nov to Feb. This is the rainy season, but that doesn't mean it will rain very much in the desert. On the average, Palm Springs weather is dry; it gets less than an inch per month, but all of it might come in one day. In general, this is the most pleasant time of year to visit.
We had a lovely tour to Palm Springs. The view at the San Jacinto Mountain top is just amazing. The weather is quite cool up there. It was such a pleasant to see evergreens and camps sites of a Palm Springs. Then there’s a Palm Spring Aerial Tramway that is very fun and spectacular. Beautiful views and really fascinating to see the change in vegetation/ climate at that altitude. A really fun way to spend an afternoon. Also don’t miss Palm Canyon; we just loved walking this canyon. We stumbled upon a beautiful rock pool and small waterfall. A great place to take some amazing photos. The Palm Springs is just incredible!!
